Gilbert and Sullivan’s PATIENCE
Alexander Theatre
Monash University, 48 Exhibition Walk Clayton VIC

Established in 1935, GSOV presents G&S’s PATIENCE: Sullivan’s most beautiful music and Gilbert’s brilliant satire on the Victorian obsession with poets. Bunthorne, a fake poet, adores Patience, but she adores Grosvenor, a real poet.
The Rapturous Maidens adore only the most aesthetic, but no one adores the Dragoons. Mirth ensues as everyone’s romantic plans unravel. An evening of song, wit and live music with a full orchestra, and chorus awaits.
Free parking on site. Step free access from your car to your seat. Bar available. Informative, low-cost program available.
